Why do you use frozen fruit?

To ensure our customers receive the best tasting smoothie with the maximum nutritional benefit - we make Love Smoothies only from Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) fruits. This means we have access to the highest quality fruits that are available all year round and we know that no damaged or poor quality fruit ever make their way into a Love Smoothie.

Not only this, but our IQF fruit often contains more goodness and more vitamins than fresh fruit.

What is IQF technology?

With IQF technology the fruit is flash-frozen in about 2 seconds, instead of the old fashioned way of over several hours. This locks in the goodness and nutrition of the fruit - for life.

According to Fitness Magazine frozen fruit has just as much if not more nutritional value than the "fresh" fruit you find on the shelves.

In 1998, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) also confirmed that IQF frozen fruits provide the same essential nutrients and health benefits as fresh fruit.

This means the fruit has been boiled, which reduces the nutritional content and changes the flavour of the fruit from "fresh" to "cooked". Our IQF frozen fruit is not pasteurized and retains the taste, goodness, flavour and nutrition of fresh fruit. It is simply picked, washed and frozen - no cooking whatsoever. Fresh fruit very often contains less vitamins and nutrients than our IQF fruit, as nutrients are lost almost immediately after picking. Fruit in the shop can be several months old.

How many of the recommended "5 a day" do Love Smoothies contain?

Every Love Smoothie sachet contains 2.5 portions of the governments' recommended daily allowance of of fruit. That´s half of your daily 5 a day in one drink! Each IQF smoothie sachet has been analyzed by an independent, internationally recognized laboratory so we know exactly what´s in each smoothie sachet.

What is a Smoothie sachet?

A smoothie sachet is a pre-portioned, ready-mixed pack of whole pieces of quick-frozen fruit that contains exactly the right quantity of fruit to make one smoothie, when it is mixed with a little fruit juice in a blender. Each smoothie sachet contains between two and four different types of IQF fruit or berries that have been carefully mixed according one of our award-winning smoothie recipes. Our products are sometimes called "frozen fruit sachets".

How are Love Smoothies different from other smoothies?

• Our products contain NO additives, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, added sugars or colourings.
• Our products are unpasteurized. All smoothies in bottles have been pasteurized, even the ones you find in the cold display of your supermarket.
• We never use ice as a filler - Love Smoothies are made only from 100% pure fruit - and sometimes a touch of 98% fat-free yoghurt.
• Each one of our smoothies provides 2.5 of your 5-a-day.
• We've developed our smoothie recipes over many years, ensuring they're the best on the market. Your customers will keep coming back for more!

Do Love Smoothies contain dairy products?

A few of our smoothies contain 98% fat free yoghurt in addition to fruit. These smoothies are currently: Blueberry Magic, Flu Fighter and Go Faster Master. We are testing Smoothies with 50% yoghurt at this moment and will be Beta Tesing very soon. Plus we are bringing out Love Shakes in the coming months.

What equipment do I need?

If you run a cafe or bar you will need a commercial blender to mix the quick frozen fruit sachets and some freezer space to store them. If you want to make Love Smoothies at home, you can use a domestic blender.

Do you sell Blenders?

Will you be developing more smoothies or other products?

Definitely! We are passionate about Smoothies and are always looking for ways to improve everything we do. We are involved in the continual development of new flavours, products and concepts.

• Our newly developed Love Shakes are currently in final Beta Testing for market release in the coming months.
• Another new product is our Freshly-made Bottled Smoothies. Always made freshly every day. This product is also in Beta Testing with one of our clients who has bought his first 40,000 smoothies in this format. All reports to date indicate this product will be a market leader.

Do you supply internationally?

Yes, we supply our frozen fruit smoothie sachets to many international destinations including: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Italy & Scandinavia. We have a fantastic international distribution network that provides a door-to-door service at great rates, via road, air and sea. How do I become an agent for Love Smoothies?

The process is incredibly simple and we´ve set up many Love Smoothie Agents or Distributors already. Essentially you need to research your local market to evaluate the demand for smoothies and then contact us to discuss your plans. If we can answer your questions satisfactorily and if we think you have what it takes to become a Love Smoothie Distributor we will arrange a meeting with your International Representative.

Soon after this you may choose to take part in our training sessions. Then we would send you your frozen fruit sachets and our support team will help you establish your customer base.
