The Love Smoothies group of companies was born out of a passion for creating delicious and original fruit based Smoothies.
Love Smoothies was founded in the UK by Richard Canterbury who traveled around the world sampling many wonderful (and sometimes not so wonderful) fruit based drinks until one day he made a promise to himself.
He would start a company to manufacture and sell delicious fruit Smoothies that people everywhere would fall in love with.
The first Love Smoothies outlet he created was at Borough Market in the UK, in 2004, followed swiftly by a site at the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi in London. Many more outlets were established soon afterward and Love Smoothies has become a leading supplier of IQF Smoothies to the UK catering trade.

In 2008, Elisa How and Stevie Bird, lovers of smoothies and of traveling, met with Richard and we were instantly impressed with his honesty, creativity and his business accomplishments. We also loved his smoothies!
We loved them so much that we asked if we could distribute the products ourselves and after many discussions with Richard we set up the first major international operation, Love Smoothies in Spain, based in the Canary Islands.
Within a few weeks we discovered that the people who lived here loved these smoothies just as much as we did. We decided we would like to work in a more in-depth way with Richard and his team in the UK, helping to bring the product to a wider market than just the Canary Islands. Richard was enthusiastic about our ideas and together, between the UK and Spanish teams we have created an international distribution network for the entire range of Love Smoothies premium smoothie products.
We speak with Richard, Lucy and Tom in the UK on an almost daily basis and the UK team is a real joy to work with. They are always ready to listen to our ideas and to share with us their own perspective and experiences and to offer help. Elisa and Stevie feel privileged to be able to work with them.

Fast forward to today - and Love Smoothies supplies delicious, award-winning fruit smoothies to thousands of cafes, bars, restaurants, tourist attractions, hotels, schools and universities, both in the UK and internationally.
The Love Smoothies "made-easy" process (i.e. pieces of frozen whole fruits packed into sachets and blended with juice to create fantastic tasting, super-healthy smoothies) has been a phenomenal success. We all continue to build and grow the Love Smoothies brand and the Love Smoothies group of companies and we are really excited about the possibilities unfolding before us.
The Love Smoothies team is dedicated to making and selling the highest quality, tastiest, freshly made IQF Smoothies on the planet - whilst never forgetting to have lots of fun!
It´s been an amazing journey for us all so far - and we know it´s only just begun!
